The foundation of Sonekar College of Pharmacy was laid under the Ravi Bahu-uddeshiya Shaikshanik Sanstha with a vision of educating people to help them bring about development in themselves, their homes and society. Special emphasis is laid to explore their latent talents so that their personality filters crystal clear, imbibing in themselves the virtues of integrity, discipline, confidence and dynamism and thus emerge successful in the modern competitive world. The institution is constantly striving to achieve high academic standards by organizing seminars, talks, conferences, symposiums and workshops for teachers, students and non-teaching staff. Blessed with a visionary leadership of the management, qualified and dedicated staff and zeal to be in step with the global educational scenario.

On behalf of the Ravi Bahu-uddeshiya Shaikshanik Sanstha, I am pleased to introduce you to Sonekar College of Pharmacy, Koradi, Nagpur and offer my vision for the Institute. We established SCP for the noble mission of education in 2006 with a humble effort to bring education to more people. With greater number of India's population pushing into old age; and growing advances in medicine creating more pharmaceutical advances in medicine creating more pharmaceutical products, our country is facing a critical shortage in one area of health care delivery- qualified pharmacists. The demand for pharmaceutical services is expanding dramatically in community pharmacy, health-system pharmacy, managed health care, and the pharmaceutical industry. Oriental College of Pharmacy is committed to excellence, professionalism and lifelong learning for our students. With experienced faculty and staff and modern infrastructure, SCP is prepared to provide its students state-of-the-art education with many opportunities.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Sonekar College of Pharmacy (SCP). At SCP, our mission is to educate and train students in the basic and advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and to contribute to improvement of health of the society through quality educational and research programme. At SCP we set very high standards for education in order to arm our students with all the arsenal required to be successful leaders in their area of interest. We also encourage a lot of cultural and sports events at our college. We provide students with a conducive environment which nurtures and inspires the students to be achievers in life. Sonekar College of Pharmacy (SCP) is one of the premier pharmacy colleges in India, imparting quality pharmacy education and research for more than 10 years. SCP was established in 2006 by Hon. Founder President Late Shri P. B. Sonekar. Since its inception, the college is offering Degree in Pharmacy, the college has grown in stature. The pharmacy program is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Director of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai and Government of Maharashtra. It is our vision to imbibe knowledge, skill and capability in the field of pharmaceutical science to the students from economically weaker section of the society. In the era of globalization, it will be our aim to thrive for high quality education to meet the demand of ever expanding, competitive, industrial and healthcare profession.
